I’ve seen a lot of sailboats. I’ve been inside most of them. The most spectacular interior I’ve ever encountered was in a well-appointed Hylas 54. It had the feeling of an Italian hotel. Loved it! I do, however, love the simple pleasures of the interior of Skiron. It seems original with exception of a few possible modifications. Here are a few photos that, unfortunately, can never truly give one the sense of being present in this superb vessel.
Fore berth. There is an insert and padding for the middle section to convert the sleeping area into a full triangular space. Starboard seat. The rail at seat level can be removed and hung on the rail at back level to enlarge the sleeping area. Port seat. Also has a removable rail to enlarge sleeping area. Looking forward. Navigation station. Looking aft to kitchenette. Looking to Port. Looking to bow. Looking aft at hallway to aft suite. Engine is to the left of the photo. Double-sized bed. Looking to bow. Lovely table. The head. I ultimately replaced the VHF radio. New VHF radio.
