Whale Watching

Here are a few short videos that I took years ago. I was on a sailboat cruising up the Nor Cal coast with some friends. We saw a flock of birds hanging out on the water and flying frantically in the sky nearby and figured there must be whales. Now, I don’t think of whales as our sailboat friends, but more as our friends in the Marine world. We were probably little too close. This became apparent when one came to the surface swimming alongside us in parallel and was longer than the vessel we were on. The color of the sky was real. I believe this was during the wildfires of 2017.
